Without threads attached to it the Yakun'imaar does step 4 damage with a range of 2-15/35/75.

Key Knowledge: The wielder must know that the name of the item is Yakun'imaar.
Effect: increase Yakun'imaar's damage step by +1 and range is now 2-15/40/100. Add +8 to difficulty number of any test to shatter Yakun'imaar.

Cost: 1300

Effect: increase Yakun'imaar's damage step by +2 and add +1 step to all attack test made when used as a melee weapon.

Cost: 2100

Effect: increase Yakun'imaar's damage step by +4 range is now 2-20/50/120.

Cost: 4400

Effect: increase Yakun'imaar's damage step by +5 and add +2 steps to all attack test made when used as a melee weapon. Range is now 2-25/60/140.

the last thread was done by Nolitia Thunderheart when she found the Yakun'imaar years later, she added a version the Nobody here spell on the spear that makes it disappear.
Effect: for the cost of 3 points of strain, Yakun'imaar disappears when thrown, only to reappear inches from its target adding +2 steps to the damage and attack test.
